love under the influence of a proposed vacation
The sneaky punk conned his drunk and coked-up
girlfriend into taking the DWI rap. They crash through, trash a Coconut Grove home in his mom’s four-door Honda Accord. Charged
today with the May twenty-eighth crash, he's held without bail. Miami-Dade DA Wilfredo Ferrer says Dan Brat, twenty-four, tricked Ivanna Villanueva, nineteen, into
telling cops that she was behind the wheel when he crashed through the South Florida home of a ninety-six-year-old woman – taking a thirty-foot tree with him
from the front to the backyard. Ferrer says the incredible demolition
derby is the end result of a night of boozing and cocaine snorting at
the eight hundred thousand dollar home of Brat’s parents in residential Palmetto Bay
– when Brat and Villanueva took a high speed joyride for more drugs.
“We know what really happened that day,’’ says Ferrer at a press
conference after the court session. He says the couple, along with three
pals (who remain anonymous), were doing shots of Jim Beam and snorting coke at Brat’s jeweler dad’s home until four a.m. The crash occurred during a trip for more miller "champagne of beers" high life and cocaine, while Brat was driving, says Ferrer. He says Villanueva
was passed out in the passenger seat and “told us she wakes up as the
incident is occurring and they were driving through the house.’’ Ferrer
says Villanueva “was in love with him’’ and agreed to take the rap, after
he promised to pay her bail and legal bills – and take her on a
vacation to the Bahamas. He broke his word and she revealed it was all a lie. The DA
says that when an x-ray technician at the hospital told her she could
not have been the driver because of her injuries, Villanueva told him
“it’s a little too late for that.’’
