Buildings and Food is a great semi-Miami blog by a man named Alesh, whose posts range from Miami related events, to music he believes is particularly good or important (even though the music may suck).
Alesh's blog is interesting and entertaining in many ways, but I doubt I will continue going to it, because he's made a compelling case for me not to. Buildings and Food contains several posts about the importance of The Awl, and he's convinced me to check the site out. There is no doubt that the The Awl is an excellent website, but I wonder if Alesh meant for me to stop visiting his blog. Maybe I'll read Buildings and Food here and there, but probably not as often anymore.
Note: Alesh's old blog Critical Miami was the best Miami-focused blog I have ever read, and I wish he would continue it.
