brief outline and continuation of your initial thoughts, a short introduction, to what I believe is the relevance of art honesty, (going forward into the future), and in our present politico mumbo jumbo world. Please feel free to add expand delete edit w/e...

In the age of government secrecy and technology's ability to expose corruption, there is an endless struggle to contain truth. We attempt to hide some of our actions in an effort to deceive a public, but the only person deceived is the one attempting to hide.

Technology reveals our truest existence. Our new technologies constantly reveal our actions and thoughts. We are documented and seen. How behavior is caught on video. We buy into privacy controls that give us the illusion that we can control our public image. We have various recorded mediums that capture our thoughts and movements. We cannot hide from the lies and affairs.

Somebody is watching us make mistakes. You can catch me stealing. My errors cannot be deleted. Every key stroke is recorded, timed and analyzed. We are caught in every digital act. The truth is out there, everywhere!

Herein lies a most artistic urgency across all of the mediums: the exposure of human honesty. Throughout human existence, we have accepted our peers and surroundings for what they are. It is not a new concept to accept honesty. We know its presence on a most primitive level. It inhibits our intuition; our gut feeling. It feels right because it is true. We can dress it up all we like, but the world is bound by the gravity that pulls us in close proximity, staring nakedly at each other's existence.
