What's strange about robots has always been that they will be built by humans. Asimov points to many of the problems humans could face when dealing with robots built by humans with intrinsic logical errors within their code.
OK, now, get nugged, and watch what robots might actually be like:
Evolving robots kind of takes the "robots" out of it right? Seems more like living creatures. If we force these robots to evolve, and we keep building them more and more complex, then the future of robotics really starts to look strange. Marx's cornucopia machine might not be out of the question, but how can someone force the creatures they have created to produce all of the manual labor needed to keep humans alive? Wackadoo...
Would you make a slave out of something you watched learn how to crawl? It gets even weirder because humans give robots human characteristics, but this doesn't necessarily fly with our shit. The uncanny valley is a concept which explains that the closer a robot gets to looking and moving like a human, the weirder it looks to humans, right up until it looks exactly like a human.
So, are you gonna be a bitch, or are you gonna fuck that robot?
